Baptismal Preparation

For Parents:

If you are seeking baptism for your child, we offer a comprehensive preparation program. Our Baptism Classes are now given privately by Deacon Frank or Fr. Joe. Parents and Godparents are required to attend such a session before the actual Baptism. You may attend the class elsewhere; simply bring us your certificate of completion.


For Adults:

If you are an adult seeking baptism, we welcome you with open arms. Our parish offers a program of preparation and catechesis for adults interested in receiving the Sacrament of Baptism. Please visit our RCIA Page to learn more.

Godparent Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years old and a confirmed Catholic
  • If married, must be married in the Catholic Church
  • Must be a practicing Catholic (receives Holy Communion regularly)
  • Non-Catholics are welcome to be witnesses; however, they are not technically considered sponsors
  • Sponsors are expected to attend the Baptismal Preparation Class

Schedule a Baptism

Baptism celebrations are typically held on Sunday after the 11 AM Mass but exceptions can be made if necessary.
