Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism and with it is one of the three sacraments of Christian initiation. It strengthens the faithful to be powerful in their witness to God’s love in both word and deed.
“Like Baptism which it completes, Confirmation is given only once, for it, too, imprints on the soul an indelible spiritual mark, the ‘character,’ which is the sign that Jesus Christ has marked a Christian with the seal of his Spirit by clothing him with power from on high so that he may be his witness” CCC, 1304.
For Candidates:
Our Confirmation preparation program is designed to deepen your understanding of the faith and the significance of Confirmation. Candidates participate in catechetical sessions, retreats, and service opportunities. Please contact our parish office to enroll in the Confirmation program.
For Parents and Sponsors:
Parents and sponsors play a vital role in supporting candidates on their Confirmation journey. Attend informational sessions and stay involved in the preparation process. Contact the parish office for details on how you can be actively engaged in this sacramental journey.
