A lector is an individual who is entrusted with the responsibility of reading aloud selected passages from the Scriptures during liturgical celebrations, especially during the Mass. The role of a lector is to proclaim the Word of God to the assembled faith community.

Membership is open to anyone willing to prayerfully commit themselves to this ministry.
