What are we about?

We are those of Chinese ethnicity or interest who serve together those of Chinese ethnicity or interest in our Diocese and in the State of Louisiana. We are part of the St. Edmond parish family. As far as we know, we are the only active Chinese Catholic community in the state of Louisiana.

Please spread the word about us!

Who is welcome?

We warmly welcome anyone who may be interested in celebrating and serving with us,

whether Chinese or not, whether you spoke Mandarin, Cantonese, another or none of the Chinese languages.

When is holy Mass?

Holy Mass is on First Sundays of the month at 1:30pm.

May English speakers participate?

All are encouraged to participate.

We celebrate Mass in a bilingual format: Chinese (Mandarin) and some English.

Completely bilingual handouts are provided. The homily is in Mandarin and English.

我们何时聚会
When and where do we gather?

After holy Mass, we have a gathering in the administration building atrium connected to the church by the covered walkway. There are food, fellowship, and resources in Mandarin and English.

有时，我们会在中秋节，中国农历新年，中华殉道圣⼈瞻礼日等特殊日⼦聚会。

Sometimes we meet on special occasions such as for Mid-Autumn Festival, Chinese Lunar New Year, Feast of the Chinese Martyrs, etc.

Do you have other Sacraments such as Baptism available in Mandarin?

Yes. Please contact Fr. Rozas; he will then share the details.

如果我的英语说得不好怎么办
What if I do not speak English well?？

没问题，很多⼈的母语是講普通话的。

No problem, there are some who speak Mandarin as their first language and some Cantonese speakers.

如果我的普通话说得不好怎么办？
What if I do not speak Mandarin or Cantonese well?

没问题，很多⼈都能说⼀⼝流利的英语或以英语为母语的。

No problem, there are many who speak English well or as their first language or Cantonese.

What if I speak Cantonese, not Mandarin?

You are welcome too!

You are certainly welcome! We have an amazing series of gatherings where together we delve the depths of the glorious holy Catholic Faith handed down to us from the Apostles.

These gatherings are available are convenient times in

Mandarin, English, and possibly Cantonese languages.

What if I do not have a Bible or do not know how to use one?

如果您愿意，只需告诉我们，我们很乐意为您提供⼀本，并帮助您学习如何使用。

If you would like, simply let us know, and we will happily give you one and help you learn how.

I live in another part of the State of Louisiana, I have to work, etc. :
